I liked her very much and she did a good job but I don’t like the fact that she said she stops doing Pap smears when the patient is 65. I am [omitted] and have had abnormal Pap smears for years. My report says that I still have abnormal cells but it says to come back in 3 years!

She explained things very well, and I could tell that she genuinely cared about my health and treatment. However, I wish that she had been a little bit more efficient with the IUD switching procedure. I do think that it could’ve gone a lot faster and caused me less pain if everything was planned and set out in order/properly. Unfortunately, she used the dilation tool before she had the correct tool to remove the IUD in the room. She asked the nurse to go get it, then dilated my cervix, and then we just sat there and waited for the nurse to get back. It wasn’t more than a minute or two, but when something is that painful and causing terrible cramping, every second counts. It may be nice to encourage more of a second-to-second efficiency. It was really unfortunate and left me feeling very frustrated with the experience.

I had never me Dr. Humphrey but am so glad that I did! She was sweet and very comforting. These appointments make me so anxious, and she took the time to try and calm my nerves.
