He never sent my EKG results on to my Dr who did the surgery which necessitated getting one in hospital right before my surgery. Also never faxed over my surgical clearance. I had to call and request it to be faxed asap when I arrived at my pre-surgical visit with my gynecologist.He also ordered new labs for me but never explained the reason for that.

He has knowledge and asks the right questions, takes time to speak with the patient to find more about the illness. He prescribes the right medication, and explains the results you can expect from the treatment. Highly professional.

Very compassionate, took his time even tho we were late in arriving to appt (problem with insurance transport being late, we did call but message not recd by Dr office. The actual care by Derrick Johnson was excellent & do recommend when unable to see Dr Lombard

Before becoming a physician assistant, he worked for 13 years as a manufacturing engineer. Derrick always had an affinity for the medical profession. However, he initially cho se engineering because of his mathematical skills. He was influenced to change careers by his family physician.
