Time between appointments is excessively long, despite the insurance recommendations. This recent visit, I indicated a new symptom, and Dr. Barry indicated that he didn't know why that occurred, and offered no follow up, except to say it might be related to my diabetes...MIGHT BE?? He is the expert and should be able to assist with finding out what is happening. Other than that, the visit itself was uneventful.

Dr. Barry does not listen to me as his patient. He seems very detached and disinterested. I asked for physical therapy for both my ankles and specifically requested VARGO physical therapy as they are close to my home and as I know them to be an excellent PT facility. 2 days later, I got a referral for only one ankle and to a facility in Mission Hills, which I suspect is part of his practice, and which is 3 or 4 times farther to me than VARGO. I am [omitted] years old and do not wish to travel that far for PT. I was very uncomfortable with Dr. Barry during my visit as I had a feeling he did not care and was not listening.
