I’ve seen Dr Maples for 30 years. He’s an excellent physician. I’m sorry he moved to Optum. Prior to this, you could always reach his office, his nurse, and get a same day appointment. And he has been at at least 6 groups before Optum

Dr. Maples is always very professional, forthcoming with the information for the appointment, very clear on directions to follow and suggestions for possible future steps, monitoring results from the previous visit and making suggestions to investigate path to move on from where I am at the moment. He is very vocal about getting any exams done to explore issues further as needed. I am very happy and feel very comfortable talking with him about my issues and very comfortable with his directives. When I finally got to see the doctor, he seemed very knowledgeable. He listened well, took his time, and didn't rush through anything. He listened to everything my wife and I had to say and ask. No problems with the Dr. Maples. It was what happened up until that point that was disappointing.
