Alwyn Sumabat, MD, is board certified in family medicine with more than 10 years of experience. Dr. Sumabat earned his medical degree from the University of the East, Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center in the Philippines. He completed his internship and residency at McLaren Regional Medical Center in Michigan. Dr. Sumabat became a physician be cause both of his parents were in the medical profession. As a child, he saw the compassionate care they provided to their patients, and their behavior strongly influenced him. Dr. Sumabat listens carefully to what patients tell him about their symptoms.
