Tushar Mehrotra is head of the analytics services business for Optum Advisory Services.
He is responsible for leading a team of 100-plus analytics professionals including data scientists, health economists and actuaries to serve health care clients (payer, provider and life sciences) on their most pressing data and analytics needs.
Prior to joining Optum Advisory Services, Tushar spent the past seven years at McKinsey & Company in Washington, D.C., as an associate partner. He was one of the core leaders in the North America Digital and Analytics practice for health care.
He has published articles on health care digital and analytics topics and has served on panels and roundtables with leaders in the industry.
Tushar earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in electrical engineering, and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in strategic management and finance.
