The power of collaborative contracting

National Association of State Procurement Officials (NASPO) ValuePoint is helping states streamline the procurement process by using resources from multiple states to create cooperative agreements.

For states, ValuePoint reduces the procurement timeline and provides set pricing based on established criteria. It means that core functionality has already been vetted by other states and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

The first module available through ValuePoint is Provider Services. Provider Services allows states to enroll, credential and verify providers for Medicaid.

NASPO is also planning to introduce ValuePoint cooperative agreements for other MMIS modules in the near future.
