Alliant 2 is a government-wide, multi-year acquisition contracting vehicle that provides government agencies a platform to solicit IT services and projects from a list of pre-approved and highly-qualified companies, including Optum The scope of the Alliant GWAC includes any and all components of an integrated Information Technology (IT) solution, including all current and any new technologies that may emerge during the life cycle of the contract. Contract Features

With GSA’s Alliant 2 contract, government agencies can obtain a single source of integrated IT services and access to “best in class” private sector IT services. Its broad array of features and benefits include:

  • 10-year contract with a $50 billion ceiling, plus up to 5 more years for contract extension beyond ordering period - Allowing for long-term planning on large-scale programs
  • Offering flexibility and supporting all contract types (e.g., fixed price, cost reimbursement, labor-hour and time-materials)
  • Adhering to pre-competed and streamlined ordering procedures
  • Accommodating federal guidelines regarding enterprise architecture and other IT compliance standards and protocols
  • No protests on orders $10 million and under, with few exceptions
