OptumServe™ has earned a number of certifications and industry distinctions that help to enable the highest quality products and services for our customers, including:

CMMI Development Level 4 and Services Level 3

QSSI is an established CMMI® Maturity Level 4 organization. It is also certified as a CMMI Level 3 organization for services. At these levels, process performances are “quantitatively managed,” which means that processes are controlled, measured and predictable for expedient, high-quality outcomes. These certifications demonstrate the organization’s commitment to high quality, reduced costs, consistent on-time delivery, greater productivity and overall greater solution and service satisfaction.

ISO 9001:2008

Logistics Health Incorporated (LHI) and The Lewin Group, which are part of OptumServe, are certified to the ISO 9001:2008 standard for quality management systems. To be certified, these organizations demonstrated to independent auditors that their internal quality management systems include:

  • Clearly stated quality objectives
  • Defined processes and procedures for pursuing those objectives
  • Systems to document performance
  • Uniform review of performance against objectives
  • Periodic review of the quality system itself
  • A codified pursuit of continual improvement

Amazon Web Services

OptumServe (through QSSI) has been a part of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner Network (APN) since 2014 and achieved “Standard Consulting Partner” status in 2015. QSSI achieved the partner status upgrade through a combination of: 

  • Demonstrated innovations on the AWS platform by our AWS DevOps Lab; 
  • Strong pool of certified AWS architects; and 
  • Successful deployment of federal government cloud projects on AWS GovCloud. 

This elevated partnership status validates QSSI’s proven capabilities to architect and deliver AWS Public and GovCloud solutions in a highly agile manner. 

National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA)
LHI meets NCQA compliance standards for credentials verification services. 

Utilization Review Accreditation Commission (URAC)
