Tanya Burton, PhD

Associate Director



Tanya Burton is an associate director on the health economics and outcomes research team and has been with Optum since 2010. Her primary responsibilities include study design, execution and dissemination — focusing on economic and clinical outcomes research. 

Dr. Burton has numerous research articles published in journals such as Circulation, American Archives of Internal Medicine and Value in Health.

Dr. Burton's training includes a PhD in health services research from UCLA and an MS in biostatistics, also from UCLA.
