Optum® Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) operates with a user-friendly app on the care provider's own smart phone or tablet. This makes it easy for providers to adopt EVV, with GPS capturing and verifying the provider's location at reported times.
Easily configurable platform for state policy
We can easily configure our platform to any state's specific policies and needs in terms of covered benefits and agency payment. It also allows providers and agencies to send alerts to each other.
Ease of use helps protects members
The Optum EVV member portal is easy for members to use too, providing a convenient way to verify they received care. In addition, our system automatically sends real-time alerts to prevent gaps in care that could otherwise put vulnerable members at risk.
Facilitates scheduling and timely reporting
Optum EVV actively manages scheduling of services by in-home care providers and manages timesheets. We send timely aggregated reporting to the state.

Electronic Visit Verification is one of many modular solutions on our Optum® Medicaid Management Services (OMMS) platform. Functions are pre-built and we configure it to your state needs. At the same time, we keep your data secure and separate from other state tenants.
